WoW: Armor sets from the Sanctum of Domination come in Legendary look
Actually, the class sets from the raids should make their comeback sometime in the course of WoW Shadowlands. However, this will not happen with the upcoming patch 9.1. Instead, there will once again be one set per armor class to capture in the Sanctum of Domination. The set is visually based on the raid, of course, and is strongly reminiscent of the creatures we get to see in Torghast.
However, the look of the set is already in the game. This is because the individual parts visually correspond to the respective Legendarys, which together form an impressive set. Currently, however, it is not yet possible to wear the entire set, since you can only use one Legendary and its appearance cannot be transmogrified to other items at the same time.
There will also be different color schemes for the sets - at least there are different color schemes in the game files. According to Hazzikostas, these will all be made available to the players. However, it remains unclear in which way this will happen. After all, there are six different color schemes, but only four difficulty levels, which have provided slight variations in the sets so far. Possibly there will still be sources outside the raid, for example in Korthia.
Of course, there will also be plenty of weapons in the Sanctum of Domination that thematically match the armor sets, so that there is a unified picture.

However, this does not mean that the class sets for Shadowlands are history. In an interview with wowhead, game director Ion Hazzikostas confirmed that tier sets are still planned for Shadowlands. However, these will come later in the expansion. Their look is already in the works. However, he did not want to or could not reveal more details about this yet.
