WoW: In patch 9.1 there's a lot more soul ash from Torghast
Torghast is one of the most important features of WoW Shadowlands, but the Tower of the Damned is not really popular. There have been repeated complaints in the community that Torghast doesn't have good balance and doesn't drop enough soul ash, the number of lives per run is limited, and failed attempts don't bring any loot. Patch 9.1 addresses many of these issues. The Tarragrue disappears, so we'll be able to cut our teeth endlessly. In addition, failed runs will also provide us with some soul ash. In an interview with Sloot, the developers have now shed light on further innovations that will make getting Soul Ash much more relaxed.

Three big changes for more Soul Ash in Torghast
- The first run of an ID through Torghast will be rewarded with 50 percent more Soul Ash than before.
- Additional runs will also give you Soul Ash, although slightly less (previously, an additional run had no benefit at all).
- You will be able to send Soul Ash to other characters on your account (dataminers had already discovered this feature, but now it's official).
Crafting Legendarys of ranks 1 to 4 will be much easier in patch 9.1 of WoW Shadowlands. Source: buffed
Soul ash buff is great, but not so important for high-level characters
This way, it will be much easier in patch 9.1 to accumulate different Legendarys or not take forever to catch up as a straggler. Equipping more Heroes on your account will also be a breeze thanks to shippable Soul Ash.
Soul Ash won't play a role in the new ranks of our Legendarys, though. This is because the resource will be replaced by Soul Cinder, which will allow you to craft rank 5 and rank 6 Legendary items.
