WoW Shadowlands Beta starts already next week with many innovations
After almost exactly three months of alpha phase, the upcoming WoW expansion is now moving towards beta. As the developers announced during the WoW Shadowlands Summit, the beta is just around the corner. The WoW Shadowlands beta will start as early as next week (the exact date is yet to be announced). As part of the transition from alpha to beta, Blizzard should also be sending out a bunch of invitations to interested players. Remember that you have to register for this beta. You can do that on the official Shadowlands page. In the upper right corner you will find the word Beta Registration. By the way, players who were unlocked for the alpha should automatically have access to the beta as well.
In contrast to the alpha, the beta will be "feature complete" according to the developer. While in the alpha only the individual areas, their quests and some dungeons are playable, the beta will also contain the complete endgame. So we will finally be able to join one of the pacts, and along with it, the special content of each pact. This includes the new follower system, the levelling up of pacts and companions, and also special events that are reserved for members of the respective pact. And of course, we will also be allowed to visit the respective Sanctum and gradually upgrade it. Together with the beta, some class adjustments will also make their way in, with which the developers will react to the collected feedback from the alpha. Unpopular talents will be reworked and some abilities will be adjusted. The Mythic-Plus dungeons will also be available - but only about a month after the beta's release.
Are you already looking forward to the beta or would you rather start unencumbered in the Shadowlands?
