WoW: Desert Marauder Buzzard Mount Now Available Again - November 18

Highlight recent changes Yes No

Update from November 18,
The rare Buzzard Mount Desert Marauder that the Rarmob Rot Devourer can drop east of the Obelisk of Stars in Uldum becomes available again (location 68/32). Unlike many other rare enemies, the Giant Buzzard only appears when the small invasion in Uldum is led by the Amathet. That's the case again from Wednesday this week, which means you can get the Desert Marauder once a day until Saturday evening, when the next invasion starts. Good luck!

Original news
Months before World of Warcraft Battle for Azeroth was released, dataminers spotted a huge vulture or buzzard mount that was initially assigned to the Vulpera faction. Then, when BfA appeared, it was clear that, unfortunately, the only mount you could buy for an awesome reputation was a hyena. The fancy buzzard remained missing for the time being. With WoW Patch 8.3, it reappeared as a rare drop called Desert Marauder at the Rarmob Rot Devourer east of the Obelisk of Stars in Uldum. There is one additional restriction, however: the rare Buzzard only appears when the Black Empire's major invasion of Uldum is not active and the minor invasion of Uldum is led by the Amethet. The drop chance is about the same as the popular mechanical mount Scrapheap Drifter, which can be captured by Rusty Feather on Mechagon Island.
