WoW: War on Lordaeron - fans create fantastic live action movie
The First War is over and the proud city of Stormwind lies in ruins. The Horde descends upon the human kingdoms and advances northward. Countless people flee to Alterac, Gilneas and Lordaeron. But both the newcomers and the citizens of the kingdoms are in danger! The first Horde forces appear on the borders of Lordaeron and burn the first villages of the people. The banners of the orcs fly above the burned settlements. The invaders have licked blood after the conquest of Stormwind. Who can stop the horde?
This is the historical background of the fan film that appeared on YouTube a few days ago and follows the plot of Warcraft: The Beginning. In Chris Vernel's video, we get to see Lordaeron from a very unique perspective. Instead of oversized armor and exaggerated comic-like figures, we get to see normal people in full armor or medieval robes. Soldiers, mages and even the beautiful maiden walking in the gold grove tell a very unique, offbeat story. The makers of the film have specially dispensed with the typical "high fantasy" armor and portrayed the people as realistically as possible. Even the orcs have been given a different mask, more reminiscent of the classic orcs from the Tolkien universe. But take a look at the five-minute live-action fan film and judge for yourself:

The Orc also walks through the forest in red armor with fur. The highlight of the short, however, are the fully-armored foot soldiers who bravely line up to defend their kingdom from the marauding horde. The fan group has definitely succeeded in mixing LARP and Warcraft!
