WoW: Last Call! Remember to pick up Daisy and Bananas in the shop!

Shortly after the virtual BlizzCon in February, Blizzard launched a pet benefit program in WoW where donors could support the worldwide fight against COVID-19. All donations went directly to the medical charity Doctors Without Borders. As a thank you, the entire WoW community was given two cute pets - Daisy the sloth and Bananas the monkey.

On the official WoW homepage, Blizzard's developers thank the donors with the following words:

Congratulations! A total of $1 million has been donated by the World of Warcraft community to Doctors Without Borders. The donation goal for Daisy the sloth has been reached. She will be available to Modern World of Warcraft players for free in the Blizzard Store as early as April 23.

Remember to redeem Daisy and Bananas before August 2, 2021 (August 1 in the Americas). After that date, Daisy will continue to be available in the Blizzard Shop and the in-game store. Bananas, on the other hand, will no longer be available.

Your donations to the Doctors Without Borders COVID-19 Crisis Fund will provide urgently needed medical care and support in over 70 countries to combat the new coronavirus disease. So you only have a few days left to pick up Daisy and Bananas in the official shop!
