WoW: Pure goosebumps - the Lich King in Unreal Engine 5

With Shadowlands, we saw the final demise of arguably the most popular and iconic WoW character of all time. To the chagrin of many players, this moment wasn't nearly as epic as life and deeds would have warranted. The talk, of course, is of Arthas Menethil - the Lich King. The fact that he truly never plays a role again doesn't stop the fans from appreciating him anyway. Sometimes in ingenious cosplays and sometimes content for short movies.

Meanwhile, user MikeTheBees has linked the Lich King to another trend that has been going on for quite some time. Namely, the circumstance of rebuilding all sorts of things in Unreal Engine 5 and thus raising them to a completely new, visual level. Among other things, Orgrimmar, the capital of the Horde, could recently be admired in graphical splendor

This time, however, it is not an animated model. This makes it much easier to create, but that doesn't detract from the result. Above all, the appropriate music here underlines the ingenious atmosphere that has made WotLK the most successful WoW expansion of all time.
