WoW Patch 8.3: First keystone in season 4 will be downgraded further

In the official US forum of WoW (buy now 14,99 € ), Community Manager Kaivax has listed what players can expect at the start of Season 4 of Battle for Azeroth. In addition to some changes like the conversion of Titan Residuum to Silver and much more, this season the first Mythic Plus Keystone will be reduced by four levels instead of 3 levels in Season 4. This is important info for those who want to pull out the maximum item level from the weekly Mythic Plus box. This is because instead of scaling up to level 10, Mythic Plus rewards now scale up to level 15

.Mythic Plus Season 4 will start one week after the release of Patch 8.3, which is January 22. At that time, the difficulty of Mythic-Plus dungeons will also increase by about five levels, unlike Season 3. So a +10 dungeon in Season 4 will be about as hard as a +15 dungeon in Season 3, but the loot from the box on January 22 will still be based on the Season 3 rewards. It won't be until the following week that you'll have to play a +15 keystone for the maximum reward.

If you want to immediately pull an item with item level 475 out of the box the following week, you can already prepare now: Either complete a +20 keystone (or ideally even higher) in the period from Jan. 8 to Jan. 15, or complete a +19 keystone in the period from Jan. 15 to Jan. 21. This should be a great challenge for the majority of players, but will guarantee a +15 key in any case.
