WoW Classic: German Patch Notes for Hotfixes from March 6, 2020

Update from March 10: In the meantime, Blizzard has published the German patch notes for the Classic hotfixes from March 6. We have updated the message accordingly.

Original post from March 6:Following the release of Phase 3 of World of Warcraft Classic with the Pitchwing Hearth raid, the next round of bug fixes and adjustments were applied to the live servers today in the form of hotfixes.

For now, you can read the English patch notes below until the German patch notes are released. Hotfixes are updates that are applied server-side without the need to download new data. Some of the changes listed below will take effect as soon as Blizzard implements them, while others will only take effect after an announced realm restart. Please note that some issues cannot be fixed without a client-side patch. Our World of Warcraft Classic overview page with the latest news, specials, and videos can be found here.

  • The item recovery self-help system will now store information on destroyed uncommon and rare items for 30 days (previously 7 days for uncommon and 15 days for rare items). This hotfix is not retroactive and does not apply to items that have already expired their save period.
