WoW: 100 percent XP buff now active in BfA, Legion and Starter Edition

Highlight recent changes Yes No

Update March 21:
For those who are returning to their character at level 120 after a long hiatus and want to catch up on the latest content, Blizzard has published a guide to coincide with the 100% experience buff, which you can find here on the official website. There, you'll find useful tips on unlocking essences, the legendary cape, corrupted gear, and more.

Original news:
Twink time in World of Warcraft! The WoW makers have announced that the Wind of Wisdom buff is now active for all characters in Battle for Azeroth, in Legion, and in the Starter Edition of WoW. This grants your heroes 100 percent bonus XP! The effect can be combined with your favorite heirlooms - rarely has it been so easy in WoW to blast through the current content to the endgame with a few twinks. So if you've been thinking about running a different character in the Ny'alotha raid anyway, it's a little easier now.

The creators of World of Warcraft (buy now € 14.99 ) have decided on the buff because more and more of their loyal players have to spend time at home; either because they have quarantined themselves due to the prevailing Corona crisis or because they are affected by a curfew, for example. The Wind of Wisdom buff will remain active until April 20, 2020. Read the message from the developers at Blizzard Entertainment here.

"If you stay at home and make the journey to Azeroth from there, or level up with a new character (or two), you will receive a special bonus to help you on your adventures. Until April 20, 2020, all players in Battle for Azeroth will receive the Wind of Wisdom buff, which increases your experience gained by 100%! (Also applies to Starter Edition and Legion players.) Players can also use this experience bonus in combination with their favorite heirlooms. With the wind at your back, you'll soon be ready to face the Old God N'Zoth and his servants in Ny'alotha, the Awakened City."

All readers get free daily news, articles, guides, videos, and podcasts on World of Warcraft, Pokémon Go, and other favorite games from us. Up until now, we've funded this site through advertising and kept it as free of paid articles as possible, but since COVID-19, that's become increasingly difficult. Many companies are cutting or eliminating their advertising budgets for 2020. Budgets that we unfortunately have to rely on if we want to continue offering buffed free of charge in the future in the form we're used to.

That's why we're turning to you now. You can support us as buffed supporters so that we can continue to offer our content free of charge in the usual form without introducing a paywall or publishing misleading news.
